The island of São Jorge proves to be ideal for numerous activities that are sure to feed your emotions, your body, and your soul. The Abrigo da Cascata is located at the passage of one of the most relevant trails (PR 03 SJO) along the west coast of the island.
In our accommodation you will be able to enjoy the tranquility of a rural area with all the comfort and facilities of a hotel. You can choose between two houses with a total of 5 rooms and live in a community spirit among guests.

The gastronomic experiences are singular and unique, which distinguishes us from the normal concept of restaurant. The dining service is exclusively for guests, provided in a family atmosphere, by prior appointment.
What we offer each day will depend on what the Island will provide us in this time of year and the sharing of experiences between guests and staff. New ideas with Azorean products are the perfect combination for new and different experiences.
We bet on organic farming: taste the tea and the aromatic herbs harvested at the moment, in one of the corners of the garden. We also produce sweet potatoes and some vegetables of the season, without pesticides.
